Borussia Mönchengladbach begin search for Gerardo Seoane replacement

Both Bild and Kicker report that Borussia Mönchengladbach have already begun their search for a replacement for Gerardo Seoane. 

Following a poor start to the season that saw Gladbach lose 4-0 to Werder Bremen at the weekend,  Seoane was relieved of his duties. Bringing to an end his two-year spell at the club. 

In the Swiss’s place, the club have promoted under-23 manager Eugen Polanski as the interim head coach as they begin searching for Seoane’s replacement. Before the October international break, Gladbach must play Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg.

Currently, die Fohlen have yet to score a goal in five Bundesliga games, and have also failed to win their past 10 Bundesliga games.

Among the current head coaches who have been linked with the club are former Union Berlin head coach Urs Fischer, ex-Borussia Dortmund trainer Edin Terzic, Pellegrino Matarazzo, once of Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart and ex Bayern Munich defender and previous River Plate head coach Martin Demichelis.
