As we enter the final minutes of the transfer window, Fulham are working on a deal to sign Bayern Munich forward Jonah Kusi-Asare (18) – presumably on loan – according to Kerry Hau. Talks between both clubs are ongoing, but time is running out. However, should the Premier League club fail in their attempts to sign the Swedish forward, a departure in the coming days could still happen with Holland, Belgium and Austrian transfer windows still open.
Bayern Munich’s willingness in allowing Kusi-Asare to leave is because of the imminent arrival of Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson (24) on a season-long loan with a mandatory option to buy. Had the Senegalese international not signed, then Kusi-Asare would play a back-up role to Harry Kane. Werder Bremen also showed interest in the youngster, but they opted for a bit more experience in Werder Bremen’s Victor Boniace.
Slavia Prague and PSV are also clubs that have shown interest in Kusi-Asare.
