Official | Eintracht Frankfurt sign young Japanese attacking talent Keito Kumashiro (18)

After picking up Japanese youth international Keita Kosugi yesterday, Eintracht Frankfurt have singed another Japanese youth international for the forthcoming 2026 calendar year. Striker Keito Kumashiro will also head to the Bundesliga outfit from Japanese third division side Roasso Kumamoto. The 18-year-old will initially play for the Eintracht reserves.

Details about the transfer fee were not divulged, but Transfermarkt lists Kumashiro as a €400,000 transfer. Kumashiro, Kosugi, and Swedish talent Love Arrhov may not immediately be prepared to make first team appearances, but the Hessen-club remains pleased to have secured three developmental prospects ahead of the second half of the season.

Keito Kumashiro is a very talented striker who has already gained experience in adult football at a young age,” Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung noted in a club statement. “The move to Europe and the Bundesliga is a big step, which is why the focus at the beginning will be on carefully developing him and allowing him to adapt.
