Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are looking to set a price tag worth €100m on star striker Serhou Guirassy.
Previously, it was reported that Dortmund want to give Guirassy a pay rise, but due to their business in the summer, the 29-year-old must wait. However, if die Schwarzgelben receive an immoral fee for Guirassy, they would consider letting him go.
The fee that BVB would consider selling Guirassy for is around €100m.
However, there are conflicting reports about the status of Guirassy’s release clause at the Signal Iduna Park. The clause was worth €60-70m and was set for only certain clubs. Bild says the clause is no longer active, so Dortmund can freely demand a price, while Sky Germany has previously reported that the clause is still active.
Barcelona interested in Dortmund’s star striker:
Regardless, Barcelona see Guirassy as the perfect replacement for former Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. The striker’s contract in Catalonia expires next summer. However, whether Barcelona could finance a move for Guirassy is yet to be seen.
