Bild reports that Bayern Munich are planning to offer winger Michael Olise a contract extension with an improved salary.
Olise is said to be attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League, such as Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea, where he was previously in the club’s academy. The price for the 23-year-old could be over €100m.
To fend off interest, the Rekordmeister are looking to offer the Frenchman a two-year extension. Olise’s current deal expires in 2029 and earns a total of €16m per year. The extension would take his contract until 2031 and will also improve his salary.
Since joining from Crystal Palace in 2024 for €53m, Olise has been a revelation in Germany. In 64 games for the Bundesliga champions, the 23-year-old has 25 goals and 29 assists. Last season, Olise played a key role in Bayern’s Bundesliga win and was awarded the league’s Rookie of the Season award.
Bayern’s contract talks:
After the extensions of Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies earlier this year, Bayern are now working on the next wave of extensions. Alongside Olise, the Bavarians are also working on an extension of Dayot Upamecano and could also extend Harry Kane’s contract.
