Bayern Munich have placed Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba (21) on their shortlist, according to a report from tz.
With Leon Goretzka’s future at the club uncertain, given that his contract expires in 2026 and he wasn’t in Bayern’s starting line-up for their 3-2 win against Union in the DFB Pokal, club bosses are showing an interest in Baleba.
The Cameroonian joined Brighton from Lille in 2023 for €27m and was subject to interest from Manchester United in the summer- with the Premier League side submitted an offer to sign Baleba, but were deterred by the €100m valuation.
According to tz, Brighton would be open to offers starting at €85m in 2026, but it’s questionable as to whether or not Bayern would be willing to pay such a fee given the form of Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic, while Tom Bischof’s future in seen n midfield, despite currently operating at left-back.
