The Athletic reports that RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Seško is set to join Manchester United after the two teams agreed on a fee.
Seško will move to the Premier League for a fee totalling €85m, with a fixed fee of €76.5m and with potential add-ons of €8.5m. Sky Germany reports that the striker will sign a contract at Old Trafford until 2030.
Manchester United beat Newcastle in the race for the Slovenian, who had tried to lure the 22-year-old to the North East of England as a replacement for Alexander Isak, but Seško has instead opted for a move to the North West.
Seško will now travel to Manchester for his medical.
In what has ended up being his final season with Leipzig, Seško was underwhelming, just like Leipzig. In 45 games, the 22-year-old scored 21 goals and assisted six, but he can be wasteful in his finishing. When it comes to replacing the Slovenian, Leipzig already has an in-house replacement in Loïs Openda.
