In what will be a summer of upheaval, Milan have shown interest in Borussia Dortmund defender Niklas Süle (29), according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
With Tijjani Reijnders joining Manchester City and Yunus Musah on the verge of swapping Milan for Naples, there could yet be movement in the defensive third. Igli Tare was appointed as sporting director of the Rossoneri last month and could move for an experienced player such as Süle in the event that there are defensive departures, with Bayer Leverkusen showing an interest in Malick Thiaw.
Süle has one-year remaining on his current deal at Borussia Dortmund but proved himself as a key player under Niko Kovac towards the end of the season, starting in six successive Bundesliga games which resulted in five wins and one draw as die Schwarzgelben secured the final Champions League place ahead of Freiburg.
Should Süle leave for Milan, then Borussia Dortmund will certainly enter the market for a central defender.
