Manchester City’s James McAtee expected to visit Eintracht Frankfurt this week

Sky Germany reports that Manchester City attacking midfielder James McAtee is planning to visit Eintracht Frankfurt this week.

The 22-year-old is planning to travel to the club to get to know it better and hold talks about a potential move in the future. McAtee is one of several options for Frankfurt in this position.

McAtee has continued to attract interest from Bundesliga sides, with Borussia Dortmund showing an interest in the Manchester native, while Bayer Leverkusen’s previous interest has been well documented

Bild reports that McAtee is back on Dortmund’s list following the injury to Julien Duranville. The England under-21 captain was previously not top of die Schwarzgelben’s list, but he fits the profile that Dortmund are looking for in attack.

The 22-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with Manchester City, so he could be available for around €23m.

Dortmund’s other target for the position is Johan Bakayoko of PSV Eindhoven, but Leverkusen are seemingly leading the race for the Belgian winger
