Conflicting reports on talks between Bayern Munich and Chelsea over Nicolas Jackson

Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern Munich and Chelsea are still in talks over a potential loan move for Nicolas Jackson.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the clubs had reached an agreement, but this seemed to be jumping the gun.

Chelsea are waiting to see the outcome of the Aleksander Isak and Liverpool saga before they commit to letting Jackson leave. This is because it could open the door for the Senegal striker to move to Newcastle as a potential replacement for the Swedish striker.

Sky Germany, however, reports that Jackson is set to move to Bayern on loan with the two clubs in the final stages of negotiations over the 24-year-old. The Bundesliga champions are expected to pay his full salary.

Regardless, the arrival of Jackson will reduce the burden on Harry Kane, while the Senegal international can also play on the wing, meaning he can be used across the forward line.
