Fabrizio Romano and Sky Germany report that Borussia Dortmund are in negotiations with Chelsea over Carney Chukwuemeka.
The negotiations with the Premier League side are over a permanent deal as they have significantly lowered their demands when it came to a transfer fee.
Initially, Dortmund had been reluctant to permanently sign Chukwuemeka and were only interested in a loan, but their stance on the 21-year-old has now changed.
After the completion of the signing of Jobe Bellingham, Dortmund have been quiet in the transfer market, but they now look to be ramping things up with the start of the Bundesliga just around the corner.
Die Schwarzgelben are preparing to submit an offer for Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte, with the 20-year-old open to moving to the Bundesliga. On top of this, Dortmund have also offered Wolves striker Fabio Silva a contract as they look for someone who can play as a backup to Serhou Guirassy.
