Borussia Dortmund hesitant of signing Jadon Sancho for a third time

Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund have some reservations over potentially signing Jadon Sancho.

It has previously been reported that Dortmund are considering Sancho as they look to improve their attacking options this summer. Sporting director Sebastian Kehl has also recently spoken on the matter:

“I understand the desire. We’re thinking about it within our possibilities. The conditions have to be right. We will definitely do something, but we’re limited.”

Dortmund are said to value Sancho’s qualities, but there are some reservations about his signing. One is the criticism towards the Dortmund board for a lack of creativity in their signings, as Sancho would be moving to die Schwarzgelben for the third time in his career.

On top of this, there are question marks about why Sancho has no future at his current club, Manchester United, as well as at Chelsea, where he spent last season on loan. United are open to letting Sancho leave for €20m, while the 25-year-old is also said to be willing to take a big pay cut to return to Dortmund

Elsewhere, Dortmund continue to show an interest in Sancho’s former Chelsea teammate Carney Chukwuemeka as well as Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte
