Bayer Leverkusen set to complete the signing of Eliesse Ben Seghir from AS Monaco

Kicker reports that Bayer Leverkusen are close to completing the signing of AS Monaco’s Eliesse Ben Seghir.

The final details of a move for the 20-year-old still need to be clarified, but he will join for a fee of around €30m, and sign a contract at the club until 2030.

Once Ben Seghir’s move has been finalised, Leverkusen will only react to any potential departures. The current players who appear to be close to leaving are Piero Hincapié and Aleix Garcia. If the latter does leave, Feyenoord’s Quinten Timber is their preferred candidate to replace the Spaniard. Reports in the Netherlands indicate that Leverkusen are already in talks with Feyenoord over a fee for the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien.

Another move that will be completed before the Moroccan’s arrival is the signing of Ezequiel Fernandez from Al-Qadsisiya. The Argentine’s move to Germany is all but finalised; he just needs to complete his medical before signing his contract until 2030.
