Peter Pekarík has extended his contract with Hertha Berlin that will keep him at the club beyond this season.
“I’ve taken the club to heart and is basically a part of my family. I’m looking forward to facing challenges with the team and will continue to give my all. We’re all on a journey and together we want to succeed,” said Pekarík.
The Slovakian joined Berlin in 2012 from Wolfsburg and has made 146 appearances so far, scoring twice while registering 10 assists.
The time period of the new contract wasn’t made public.
