Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to AC Milan – the situation

Borussia Dortmund have publicly confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no longer for sale, following interest from AC Milan and Chelsea.

It has been reported last week that a potential suitor would have to pay around €70 million to land the Gabon international, but following Dortmund’s International Champions Cup friendly win against Milan, Aubameyang is no longer on the market.

“We consider the transfer window closed for him, because we otherwise would have run out of time [to find replacements],” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told reporters.

Both Kicker and WAZ are now reporting that a team would have to pay up to €100m to land the 28-year-old forward.
