VfB Stuttgart have completed the signing of Dennis Aogo on a two-year deal after his contract at Schalke expired.
The 30-year-old adds a wealth of experience to the Stuttgart squad with 213 Bundesliga games to his name, playing for SC Freiburg, Hamburger SV and Schalke 04, as well as having played 45 games in Europe.
Aogo told the club’s website: “I didn’t have to spend much time considering the offer from VfB and I am very happy that the transfer has worked out. I am very motivated and extremely eager to get on the ball and begin training with the team. During the course of my career I have played in Stuttgart on a number of occasions, so I know there is always an unbelievable atmosphere here. That too was an important factor in me making this move to VfB.”
